Interestingly enough, through listening to your podcasts I've noticed more than a few parallels between my film, "Headcase" and your feature film which you occasionally speak of, "Jake Forgotten." Headcase began filming in 2008, it was made for $50,000, the story has somewhat of a mob element to it but instead of shooting with the JVC GY HD100, I took the HVX 200 P2 route.

Playa Zipolite in Mexico is awesome, but you have to take a camioneta to get there. The updated Lonely Planet actually speaks better of Zipolite, but the reviews are rough at best.

Headcase was shot on the Panasonic HVX 200, but Jake Forgotten was shot on the JVC GY-HD100u and required a special deck. Both were shot at 720p24.

Once again, we talk about Aaah! Zombies!! and how it was shot on a Viper.

Seth Worley at RedGiant TV is amazing. We talk about Exploding Man as a great tutorial.

Mine was shot on the Nikon D3100 which does 1080p24 and looks great.

Final Cut Pro 7 can be installed on Lion, according to most people.

We talk a lot about fxPHD and how great it is.

Mark lays some smack down with regard to After Effects, Mocha and Warp. The rest of us do our best to keep up with his flow-seeking self.

Kenn edits in Final Cut Pro and then uses Automatic Duck and goes into After Effects. He's a fan of Colorista for all color correction (on The Dog Files). He spins logos with Invigorator Pro. Apparently Colorista has "masking" in After Effects... who knew?

Shane uses Final Cut Pro and Avid. He doesn't like to leave Final Cut to do color correction, which means Colorista in Final Cut.

I talk about an upcoming plugin that I've been working on for the last year, which does Color timing. I almost talk myself out of the viability of the plugin through the course of conversation, but decide it's a good idea.
